Roy Jones declared he would like to work on TV Channel «Zvezda»

The American boxer Roy Jones who earlier reported about his intention to get the Russian citizenship said that he would like work on TV channel «Zvezda». He told about it in an interview to the correspondent Maria Osipova. According to Jones, he could try himself as an anchor or the sportscaster without any problems. «I like to work on TV and I am a TV guy. My face, my body and my language are made for television. I can help people, give them advice, give people a chance to do everything themselves and to be creative», - the boxer told. Roy Jones also tried on a T-shirt with a logo of our TV channel. Having seen an emblem, the athlete said: «Oh, a star! And I`m a star! It means we belong to each other!». Roy Jones wants to become the citizen of Russia, the absolute world champion in all weight categories as he declared in the beginning of September. So far he is in Russia as an invited trainer. Explaining the choice for the Russian nationality, Jones said: «As a legend and a respectable person in boxing I want to feel home in the country where boxing is respected and admired. I spend nice time here. You have got fine opportunities for trainings. I like everything here! It`s an interesting adventure for me».
