Scientists discovered four new species of mycetoid organism yet unknown in Russia

«The MSU experts were able to identify four species of myxomycetes among the dozens of various other species, that have not previously been found in Russia. And the first time they had been found in the country it happened in the territory of the 'Land of the Leopard'. One of the species, Stemonaria rufipes, turned out to be particularly rare: Primorye was only the third place of such a find in the world, after Japan and Costa Rica,» the message says.
